Botanical dye, hand embroidery

ELYFU began with a simple question: what could plant dye and careful hand stitching make together? We still work from that question, sourcing seasonal botanical extracts and finishing every piece in a small embroidery studio.

Our palettes follow traditional plant-based methods, built from seasonal botanical extracts rather than synthetic colorants. Each batch is small and deliberate, so the colour reads as it was intended: warm, layered, and true to the material.

We work at a pace that protects the dye and the stitch, and we share the same unhurried standard with the artisan stitchers who finish each piece.

We keep our dye process free of synthetic colorants and our production deliberately small. Our embroidery stitchers are paid fairly for skilled work, and we keep our supply chain transparent so you can see where materials come from.
